A film as cromulently crusty as Joe’s Apartment deserves a rightfully riotous and irreverent poster, so I took a rip at another New York set musical, Footlight Parade, recasting the dancing Broadway ingenues as the cockroach stars of MTV’s first theatrical film. As you can probably tell, the cockroaches are hand-drawn.
