“One Million Pounds” Shirt

For the first piece of Horsebag merch after the release of our debut studio album Nobody Like You, I wanted to make something that carries on the stark design style from the album rollout, making use of similar motifs of negative space and ambiguous graphical patterns, while expanding the abstract and uncanny imagery to a more concrete visual. An oft-cited incident within the band is the infamous 2017 cargo truck crash that sent a shipment of slime eels across a highway on the Oregon coast. While this design does not directly depict this incident, it wraps up the concept of this specific disaster with the wider anxiety of an infrastructure ready to curdle at any moment below or above us.
