“As You Like It” Embroidered Poster

Tasked with creating a poster for the Reed Theatre production of Shakespeare’s As You Like It, I leaned into my embroidery skills to create a piece that hearkens back to a half-imagined past form of advertisement that one may have seen outside of the Globe Theatre. This takes the form of a fabric tapestry using all varieties of green textiles and embroidery floss, referring to the verdant setting of the play. I would have potentially loved to add more ornamentation to this design, but time got the best of us and the curtains were ready to rise.
