“Itchiest Shirt” Music Video

To announce Horsebag’s debut studio album NOBODY LIKE YOU, I worked to integrate and reinvent aspects of the album rollout across different media, in order to test how resourceful one DIY band can be with its limited time and resources. As such, I turned the album cover, featuring the titular lump from our song “Lump Talk” into a modular silkscreen that can be used to create a variety of colorways for band shirts. Using a few of those colorways that I was able to print, I stop-motion animated every shirt in that initial print run and synced them to our lead-off single “Itchiest Shirt.” This project provided a visual element to our album announcement and was created in basically less than a day (not counting print time), demonstrating a fleet-footed and efficient approach to the secondary elements of music-making.
