Tied to the From Below Microcinema’s “Advanced Tilda Studies” program, running semi-monthly throughout 2025, I made these shirts in honor of the actor herself. The design features some illustrations of Scottish Thistle, hearkening to Swinton’s heritage, but also representative of her unique, beautiful, and complex actorly persona. Programming this series has revealed just how much of an auteur Tilda Swinton is as an actor, a rare feat, always exploring unique projects, characters, and collaborators.
